Michelle Abruzesse and Chef Armando Garcia Herrera are brilliantly welcoming hosts and the fare is beyond comparison! Be sure to stop by when in the Phillipsburg/Easton area. http://phillipsburghistory.org/ The intention of the Phillipsburg Area Historical Society is to cover the history of the Phillipsburg area, not just the town itself. Broadly speaking, that means the western part of Warren County, and we'll often ignore municipal boundaries to call attention to something of note. http://www.roseberryhomestead.org/ We are a small group of volunteers who have taken it upon ourselves to restore the Roseberry Homestead to something approaching its eighteenth century condition. We’ve just affiliated with the Phillipsburg Area Historical Society to expand the scope of our activity. Not incidentally, the Society was organized in 1972 specifically to restore and maintain the Roseberry property. It did so with great success for a few years, but eventually vandalism and lack of sufficient interest strained the organization, and its lease on the property reverted to the Town. At the moment, we think the public is best served by making it available for occasional tours and special events, and, of course, for school field trips. That may change, as we learn more about the building and the cost of restoring it to a condition that will permit public access and provide a stimulating learning experience. For more information about the group, or how to get involved, please contact Frank Greenagel (908) 627-1234. http://www.mylestone.org/ Mylestone Equine Rescue (M.E.R.) is dedicated to abused and neglected horses. M.E.R. works to educate the general public about these unspeakable sufferings and promotes the plight of unwanted horses. Our goal is to place these once magnificent creatures in homes that will give them the true love and care they deserve. If suitable homes are not found, M.E.R. will be a permanent home for these horses. http://wdvrfm.org/index2.htm http://www.wdiy.org http://www.aon-celtic.com/ http://www.frayedknotarts.com Serving your knotting and fancywork needs worldwide.
